I worked alongside the team (which at the time had only launched its store a couple of years ago) to optimize the experience and build vision concepts for the future of its gaming platform.

Through user research and competitve analysis, we discovered that many players desired better discoverability of games. To address this, we updated the store with simple features like carousels and curated game row and list components designed with players and creators in mind. We also explored ways to connect with friends and the gaming community, allowing players to create their own world on the platform.

For vision work, I collaborated closely with my design partner (Kendra Xu) to deliver concepts for company's execs. I was responsible for discovery and ideation, visual design, and prototypes (with a motion designer ✨). Much of our early design contributions for the core of EGS are felt in the product today — from designing a polling feature to exanding the review system.
